Adam Lambert Talks Finnish Scuffle with "Ellen?
Taking care of a media appearance, Adam Lambert was spotted at ?The Ellen DeGeneres Show? to promote his new single ?Better Than I Know Myself? today (January 19).
The ?For Your Entertainment? singer also talked about the fight he had with boyfriend Sauli Koskinen in Finland back in December.
Adam shared, ?You know, relationships are work and I?m so lucky to have fallen in love with a great partner. Everybody has their ups and downs, things happen. When you add alcohol to a situation, things can get out of control and some people can get upset and emotional. What happened was, we had too much to drink. We screwed up. There were no injuries, no violence. It was more of childish, foolish, messiness.?
?I was a little irresponsible and I think what I learned from the experience was that I owe it to myself, to my loved ones, and to my fans to be a little more adult and pull it together. New Year?s resolution was like ?OK, we?re cleaning up the act, and we?re juicing, and exercising,? and I feel amazing.?
Earlier this week, Adam paid a visit to ?The Tonight Show with Jay Leno? where he gave a killer performance of ?Better Than I Know Myself.?

'He and Rihanna are just friends,' Brown's rep tells ABC News of hookup rumors.

Nearly three years after Chris Brown assaulted then girlfriend Rihanna, rumors have spread that the two have been hooking up for the past year. But Brown's rep has stoutly denied there is any truth to the gossip. "He and Rihanna are just friends," his rep tells ABC News. "He is with his girlfriend, Karrueche, and is not cheating."
Sources told Us Weekly that the former couple "meet up very casually," adding, "She comes to see him anytime she's in L.A." Other sources say that "they can't get enough of each other. I don't see it ending well."
"Rihanna loves to live dangerously," another source added. "And talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that." While Brown is speaking out against the report, instead of responding to the rumors, Rihanna has been posting a series of vacation photos on her Twitter. In them, she's seen posing on the beach in her bikini, hanging with her friends on a surfboard and working out on a treadmill.
Rihanna has also been focusing on the positive, which includes another week at the top of the charts for her Calvin Harris-produced track, "We Found Love." She's also set to perform with Coldplay at the Grammy Awards on February 12. She appears on their Mylo Xyloto track, "Princess of China."
"My friends @ColdPlay and I will be sharing the stage for a performance at this years Annual Grammy Awards!" Rihanna tweeted Wednesday night, later adding, "I'm in a great mood, and I got some GREAT NEWS!!! PRINCESS OF CHINA #GRAMMYS2012."

The duo have been all about sweet shopping trips lately, as they were also spotted making out inside H&M in Madrid at the beginning of 2012. It's been about a year since Eva and Eduardo started dating and they are clearly still going strong as a couple. Eva's reportedly taking another step to move forward from her previous relationship with Tony Parker by getting the tattoo she has of his basketball jersey number lasered off. Eva was spotted visiting a tattoo removal office just yesterday and was apparently accompanied by Eduardo.

'Glee'-Cap: Will Pops The Question
And he isn't the only one — check out our musical recap of the latest episode!
By Jim Cantiello
The cast of "Glee" on Tuesday's episode
Photo: FOX
Tuesday night's "Glee" was all about Will Schuester's proposal to longtime germaphobe girlfriend Emma, and since he apparently lacks any adult friends, he enlisted his glee-club "family" to help out. They pitched potential songs, ranging from a kick-ass "Moves Like Jagger/ Jumpin' Jack Flash" mash-up to a sensitive Rachel Berry cover of David Guetta and Usher's "Without You." But it was the girls' "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" that awakened Mercedes' old feelings for Trouty Mouth.
Meanwhile, Becky went after the man she loves — fellow handi-capable student Artie — and viewers sat and watched their brief relationship sour. Bummer. Bigger bummer? Finn's mom revealed the real way his soldier dad died. Biggest bummer? No Klaine.
It was an intense episode filled with belly laughs, several Kleenex-grabs, synchronized swimming, random guest stars and a shocking Finn/Rachel proposal cliffhanger. And it inspired this piano ballad musical "Glee"-cap. Hit play on the embedded video above to check it out, and sing along with the lyrics.
I think I hit my head while watching "Glee" this week
'Cause things got cray
A "Grease" homage, but Sam is way more buff than Travolta
And not as gay (happy)
Enter Coach NeNe Leakes
She's funnier and draggier than anything Eddie Murphy's done in years
Then Helen Mirren speaks as Becky's brain
I guess Ryan Murphy's "no guest stars" rule disappeared
Will asks the kids to pick a song for his proposal
'Cause he has no real friends and it's starting to freak me out
And in the last half-hour of the show, things got extra dark
And they tried really hard to bum me out
Surprise! Your dad died!
He OD'd thanks to PTSD from the Army
Not cool
Artie leads Becky on
She gets confused 'cause she has Downs
Then Artie almost drowns in a pool
I'm getting whiplash from the tone
LMAO-ing then, hell no, now I'm crying!
And then Finn proposed
NOOOOOOOOOOO!
If there's a double wedding, to the door I am heading
I think I hit my head while watching "Glee" this week
'Cause things got cray
It broke my mind so now I'll just be here
And dancing like Lana Del Rey
[Jim slowly turns in a circle, occasionally touching his hair, looking like a cat paralyzed in fear.]
What did you think of this week's "Glee"? Leave your thoughts in the comments!

Benedict Cumberbatch Teases 'Star Trek 2' Role
Talk that Cumberbatch is playing the new 'Trek' villain is 'just supposition,' the actor said at the 2012 Golden Globes.
By Josh Wigler, with reporting by Josh Horowitz

Ever since British actor Benedict Cumberbatch was announced as part of the cast of "Star Trek 2," fans have been arguing back and forth over who the "Sherlock" star might be playing in J.J. Abrams' upcoming sequel. Lots of speculation has centered on whether he'd be playing a familiar villain in "Trek" lore — like Khan Noonien Singh, the most popular theory to date — or an entirely new bad guy.
But perhaps we've all been barking up the wrong tree (or beaming aboard the wrong ship, as it were) as Cumberbatch teased to MTV News on the Golden Globes red carpet Sunday night (January 15) that he might not be playing an antagonist at all.
"I don't think we do know that, actually," Cumberbatch told MTV's Josh Horowitz when asked if his "Star Trek" role is a villainous one. "That's just supposition. And that's all I'm going to say about it."
Perhaps some clues can be found in the fact that Cumberbatch has been preparing for his role by consulting friends and family members better versed in the "Star Trek" universe than he is.
"I started [becoming a 'Star Trek' fan] slowly, but quite genuinely, when he rebooted it with this last film," the actor said of his own "Trek" familiarity. "I have lots of friends and family, all sorts of people who've loved all of the series and all of the films. I've been introduced to it through them and now I'm going back to them and asking them questions so I can get up to speed with true Trekkies."
Though the character's identity remains concealed, whomever Cumberbatch is playing requires no small amount of physical preparation. The actor said he's been "working out nonstop," indicating that his part in "Star Trek 2" is a very physical one. But even if preparation has been somewhat grueling, the actor insists that he's having a blast getting ready for the role.
"[Abrams has] great ideas. It's been great fun to prep," Cumberbatch said. "I start [shooting] next week, which is really exciting, and I can't say any more than that."

Golden Globes 2012: Best And Worst Moments
Peter Dinklage's acceptance speech and Seth Rogen's shocking one-liner rank among best Globes moments — but there were FAILs too.
By Josh Wigler

In spite of some predictable results ("The Artist" wins everything! Again!) and a far tamer-than-expected performance from returning host Ricky Gervais, there were some moments at the 2012 Golden Globes worth standing up and saluting — from victories for a handful of small-screen underdogs to appearances from real-life dogs.
Of course, there were other moments we would just as soon forget. Read on for our list of the best and worst of Sunday's (January 15) Globes!
Best Penis Joke: Seth Rogen
On a night peppered with lewd, "members only" humor that included Madonna trying to steal a smooch from Gervais and George Clooney offering "Shame" star Michael Fassbender a few golf tips, it was "50/50" comedian Seth Rogen who came out swinging with the most shocking one-liner of the night. Rogen called attention to his "concealed erection" while standing next to Kate Beckinsale, and it's a good thing she wasn't in character as "Underworld" badass Selene, or else that joke may have ended very, very differently.
Best Google Alert: Peter Dinklage
This year's Globes gave Dinklage yet another deserved win for playing Tyrion Lannister on "Game of Thrones." But the actor didn't simply accept his award, he sent every viewer with access to the Internet straight to the Web with instructions to Google Martin Henderson. No, he did not mean the "Torque" actor. Instead, Dinklage successfully called attention to a dwarf-tossing victim in England, using the Globes as a platform to highlight a greater issue.
Least Prepared Winner: Meryl Streep
When you hold the record for receiving the most Golden Globe nominations of any actor in history, one would think you'd be a bit more prepared when an award actually came your way. During Sunday night's broadcast, however, Streep was genuinely stunned by her Best Actress victory for "The Iron Lady." In a discombobulated acceptance speech, she thanked actors who weren't even nominated for awards and dragged on for way too frakkin' long. Meryl, we love you, but please: a little preparation goes a long way. At this point in your storied career, there's really no excuse for getting played off the stage.
Biggest Mistake: The "Boss" Wins Over Walter White
No disrespect intended to the former Frasier Crane, who has ruled the small screen in many incarnations over the years. Grammar's work on Starz's freshman drama "Boss" is worth acclaim, no doubt, but is it worth more than "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston's continued excellence as chemistry teacher-turned-meth cook? Not a chance. Four years into the AMC thriller and Cranston continues to top himself with every episode in his role as Walter White. He is the danger, and there's no question that he should have won the Globe this year.
Spot-On Award: "Homeland"
On the flip side, voters got it right by awarding Showtime's "Homeland" with two major awards: one for Best Drama and one to Claire Danes for Best Actress in a TV Drama. Danes' mentally unstable counterterrorism agent Carrie Mathison is one of the most original and moving lead characters to hit the small screen in recent years, and the actress' victory in this category is more than deserved. Likewise, the series itself was one of the brightest TV offerings of 2011, absolutely required viewing for anyone fascinated by the world of espionage and the War on Terror.
Best Dog: Uggie, "The Artist"
In a year dominated by awesome movie dogs, Jack from "The Artist" — played by Uggie the Jack Russell terrier — was the only one respectful enough to actually show up to the Golden Globes. By default, Uggie wins our inaugural Best Dog award. To the other canines: shame on you for staying home.

Madonna's 'Masterpiece' Wins The Golden Globe
Song is featured in 'W.E.,' which Madge wrote and directed.

Madonna has a huge year ahead of her, and she's already getting some shine. At the Golden Globes on Sunday night (January 15), the pop star-turned-film director nabbed the Best Original Song prize for "Masterpiece," which was featured in "W.E.," which she wrote and directed.
Taking the stage in her glittering Reem Acra-designed dress, Madge thanked the many collaborators who helped her write the song featured in her first feature film, which opens in wide release next month.
"This is a surprise," she told the room, clutching her prize. "Thank you so much to the Hollywood Foreign Press for this acknowledgement. I need to thank my co-writers, Jimmy Harry and Julie Frost, my co-producer William Orbit, who's not here, whom I adore."
As her speech went on, she opened up a bit about the creation of the award-winning track, ignoring her exit music altogether.
"I would also like to thank my manager, Guy Oseary, who I spend most of my time beating up on," she said. "But seriously, he harangued me for the entire time I was filming and editing my movie to write a song. And I said, 'Please, Guy, I'm trying to focus on being a director and I want people to pay attention to the film and I don't have time.' So then I finished the film and I started making my record and somehow magically and miraculously the song emerged, 'Masterpiece,' so thank you, Guy Oseary, for being so irritating."
As her speech wrapped up, she thanked her leading lady in the film, Andrea Riseborough, and producer Harvey Weinstein, whom she called the Punisher.
This is hardly Madonna's first Golden Globe. She previously won Best Actress in Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy for playing Eva Peron in "Evita." "Masterpiece" is expected to appear on Madonna's forthcoming new record, M.D.N.A.

Michelle Williams Toasts Her Big Win With "Punisher" Harvey Weinstein's Buddies

Busy wrote, "That was genuinely one of the most fun nights ever. So incredibly proud of my best friend!" Harvey Weinstein got shout-outs in mutiple acceptance speeches last night, being alternatively referred to as "the punisher," or in a memorable quip from Meryl Streep, as "god." Meryl was another winner who turned out for the company's event. She took home the best actress in a drama honor for The Iron Lady.

'Project Runway All Stars' Recap: Season 1, Episode 2
Badgley and Mischka (who are surprisingly totally American?) arrive and challenge the all-stars to make some haute couture evening wear that would be worn to the opera... in a day. Austin immediately feels the throw of the gauntlet and feels that he has to do something spectacular. Once again, Michael and April choose the same materials for their looks. Michael switches colors, though April thinks that it doesn't matter since their aesthetics are so different. Then, she dyes part of her fabric (in an attempt to achieve the Corpse Bride look she's going for) and everyone murmurs that this could be the end of April. Joanna wonders if she's wasting time with dyeing.

Golden Globes 2012 Predictions: Best Picture
'The Artist' and 'The Descendants' seem poised to take home top prizes, but MTV News has some different suggestions.
By Eric Ditzian
Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo in "The Artist"
Photo: Weinstein Company
MTV News has already made its pick for the Best Movie of 2011. But "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," for some bizarre and troubling reason, didn't make the cut for the folks in the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, even though 10 films were nominated across two categories.
Thus, tonight's Golden Globes celebration will not bestow its ultimate prize upon David Fincher's sizzling exploration of Swedish sex, psychology and sadism. But there remain many worthy contenders facing off on Globe night. Which films will triumph? Check out our picks and our unrealistic wishes below:
Best Picture - Musical or Comedy
We remain baffled by the adulation for "Midnight in Paris," a film whose fantastical exploration of Paris in the 1920s is more cliché-ridden than your average GOP primary stump speech. And how "My Week With Marilyn," despite an admirably imitative performance from Michelle Williams, snuck into this category would be a question we'd ask if the extent of HFPA's corruption weren't a matter of public record. We've got no beef with the rest of the nominees, especially considering "50/50" and "Bridesmaids" both ended up on MTV's year-end list. Alas, neither is likely to win.
Who Will Win: For anyone who thought "The Hurt Locker" and its sub-$20 million box-office haul made for too populist an awards-season darling, meet "The Artist," a silent, black-and-white film that has so far reeled in less than $8 million domestically.
Who Should Win: Any human who tells you "Bridesmaids" wasn't the funniest movie of 2011 is either a liar or dead inside. Or a producer of "The Artist." Kristen Wiig drunkenly romping around an airplane? Maya Rudolph pooping in the street while clad in a wedding dress? Jon Hamm offering up the most lovably hateable douche bag in recent cinematic memory? That's a whole lot of win. Too bad HFPA won't agree.
Best Picture - Drama
This category could turn any which way Sunday. A surging "Help" took home the most prizes at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards on Thursday. Not that the CCMAs are a terribly good predictor of the Globes. What's more, "The Help" is likely going to triumph in the acting categories rather than Best Picture. When George Clooney is in the mix, you can never count out one of his films, so "The Descendants" could pull off an eyebrow-raising win. The same can be said for legends like Martin Scorsese ("Hugo") and Steven Spielberg ("War Horse"). Anything. Can. Happen.
Who Will Win: People love Clooney. And movies about families dealing with grief. And Clooney. Why people don't love Matt Damon and his similarly themed "We Bought a Zoo" as much remains a mystery. "Descendants" will take this one home.
Who Should Win: Um, "Dragon Tattoo"? Or "Drive"? Right, those films didn't get nominations. "Moneyball" is an exceedingly ordinary baseball movie, "War Horse" is just too silly at its core to take seriously (even though it did reduce us to tears before the credits rolled), and "Help," as stellar as its individual performances were, just didn't wow us as a whole. Scorsese's "Hugo" is the last film remaining standing. We're cool with that.

Robert Pattinson is so beloved by "Unbound Captives" director and writer Madeleine Stowe that she may consider altering a character in the film's script so that the "Twilight Saga" star can take the role.
MTV News caught up with Stowe on the Golden Globes red carpet and asked her whether there is any chance of RPattz being in the upcoming film. After all, when we last talked to Pattinson, he suggested that he might now be too old for the role.
"The character was conceptualized as an 18-year-old," Stowe acknowledged. When asked if she would be willing to age up the role so he could still take the part, she said with a laugh, "We might. We might just do that. We'll see how it all falls."
It wasn't just the "Twilight" phenomenon that is causing Stowe to be willing to jump through hoops for Pattinson. She explained that she met him before he joined the first "Twilight" film and "fell deeply in love with him" then.
Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz are also currently attached to the project. In fact, Jackman recently told MTV News that it's "one of the best scripts I've read in a long time."
With Pattinson's commitment to "Cosmopolis" over with, he seemingly has an open slate ahead of him. Stowe said that Pattinson's decision to come onboard "Unbound Captives" is strictly in his camp.
"It's going to be sort of up to Robert. We're looking at 2013 [for a release date] right now," Stowe said.

He's already teased that Drake and Kanye West may make appearances on his next album, and on Thursday, Justin Bieber confirmed that another music industry heavyweight, will.i.am, will be assisting him on Believe.
Letting his fans know on Twitter that he's "gonna make that," the Black Eyed Peas frontman hyped up the collaboration further when he added, "let's make a hit tomorrow!! #collab. 'I gotta feeling this song is ganne be bigger than huge' #willpower."
The news comes as Bieber is deep in the studio working on his highly anticipated 2012 release. The team-up should make for an interesting track for the teen star. With Bieber hoping to recapture some of that Justin Timberlake/Timbaland magic from Timberlake's Future Sex/Love Sounds, will.i.am could bring some of that frenetic pop energy to Bieber's own work.
Last year, will made headlines when he worked with Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale song "Big Fat Bass."
Earlier this week, Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, teased that what he's heard of Believe has been "ridiculous." Bieber will turn 18 in March, and his team is hoping to bridge the gap between the boy we met on "Baby" and the man he's growing up to be.
"The only conversation we've had about Justin's album that we're about to do is it's really important that it's the proper transition, because we've seen him [with] 'Baby,' now we're watching him grow up," Bieber's longtime vocal producer, Kuk Harrell, told MTV News in November. "And we can't just throw him into the adult game right away. It has to be the proper transition. There's a record in between."

Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' 'Sounds Very Familiar' To Madonna

There was a hot debate raging about 12 months ago when Lady Gaga dropped her song "Born This Way," with people questioning whether the song sounds too much like Madonna's 1980s hit "Express Yourself."
As the discussion went viral, fans, critics and even Lady Gaga herself weighed in on it. Now, as Madge preps the release of her next album, M.D.N.A., and her film "W.E.," she's finally weighing in on the controversy. Madonna, known for her curt, pithy responses when asked about anyone who might take a cue or two from her playbook, sat down with ABC News recently and had some choice words for pop's latest princess.
"I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. And sometimes I think it's amusing and flattering and well-done," she explained of her onetime "Saturday Night Live" co-star. "When I heard ['Born This Way'] on the radio ... I said, 'that sounds very familiar' ... It felt reductive."
When asked if "reductive" was good or bad, Madonna replied, "Look it up."
The Queen of Pop did call Gaga "a very talented artist" and explained that she thinks that she's making a "statement about taking something that was in the Zeitgeist, you know, 20 years ago and turning it inside out and reinterpreting it."
Madonna also addressed her apparent penchant for kissing female pop stars. She recently made headlines when her "Gimme All Your Luvin" cohort Nicki Minaj tweeted that Madge had kissed her on the set of her video.
In true Madonna fashion, she brushed it off, saying, "It was her birthday. I gave her a birthday kiss. No tongue!"
Of course, Nicki is not the first pop star Madonna has locked lips with. Back in 2003, Madge shared kisses on the VMA stage with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. "Nice moment, good kisser. Cool," she remarked of Spears. When asked if she would kiss Spears again, she replied, "No, I already did it. I don't like to repeat myself."
For those who may have missed the "Nightline" interview on Thursday, it will air on Friday night (January 13) on "20/20."
