Rob Kardashian Wants to Go All the Way on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Rob Kardashian Wants to Go All the Way on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Rob Kardashian is taking the Dancing with the Stars judges' praise to heart. The sole Kardashian brother was so delighted by Carrie Ann Inaba's compliment after his jive performance with Cheryl Burke ("It's official. Rob Kardashian is a better dancer than Kim Kardashian!") that he's rededicating himself to practicing so he has a shot at the Mirrorball trophy.

According to TMZ, Kardashian, 24, is going to the gym every day and taking his practice schedule with professional dancing partner Burke more seriously. He even brings Burke treats, like buying her lunch, sources say. Apparently, he really thinks they can make it in the ballroom.

Kardashian's performance improved after he was nearly eliminated from competition in his debut dance. And after Inaba's props, he has completely changed his attitude, which was reportedly nervous and laxed before the show premiered. In the weeks leading up to the reality show's first dance-off, Kardashian allegedly refused to practice for more than two hours a day when his competitors were logging in more than five hours of rehearsal time daily.

But now, sources say, he is ready to prove Inaba right and prove he's the most fleet footed Kardashian.

Watch Rob and Cheryl's well-received jive below!

Ashton Kutcher on Breakup Rumors: "Don't Believe The Hype"

Ashton Kutcher on Breakup Rumors: "Don't Believe The Hype"

"Don't believe the hype." That's what Ashton Kutcher wants his fans to take away from the rumors that his marriage to Demi Moore is on the rocks.

Speculation of a split has been fueled by the Twitter-happy couple remaining strangely silent about each other on the social networking platform. But Kutcher, 33, did take to the social networking site on Wednesday to tweet a telling link to his Spotify account, which was playing the Public Enemy song "Don't Believe the Hype." Sounds like a message to us.

And, if that wasn't clear enough, Kutcher hit Twitter again on Thursday to spell it out a little better. "When you ASSUME to know that which you know nothing of you make an ASS out of U and ME," he wrote. We read you loud and clear, Ashton!

Rumors started swirling that there might be trouble in May-December paradise when Moore, 48, cryptically tweeted a quote from the Greek philosopher Epictetus on Sept. 23, the day before the couple's sixth wedding anniversary. "When we are offended at any man's fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings," she wrote. "Then you will forget your anger."

Three days later, Moore posted a Twitpic showing her lying in bed with her eyes closed, with the caption "I see through you...." Many commenters on the photo assumed that the caption was a reference to Kutcher.

Speculation was further fueled when Kutcher and Moore celebrated their anniversary on different sides of the country: Kutcher was in San Diego partying with former That '70s Show costar Danny Masterson, while Moore was in New York City for a film premiere.

Then there were tabloid reports that Kutcher cheated on Moore, with a woman named Sarah Leal claiming she'd slept with Ashton at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego last Saturday. Though this wasn't the first time Kutcher had been accused of cheating on Moore, the fact that he didn't issue a denial -- as he did last time -- only added fuel to the tabloid fire.

Still, if Kutcher says we shouldn't believe the hype, we're optimistic enough to believe him -- and we hope we're right.

What They're Saying:
"A picture with a commercial sensibility and a quippy streak, yet one honest enough to transcend the usual." -- Chicago Tribune

"It's the Rogen-Goldberg touch, with the duo's characteristic Superbad mash of the sweet and the bracingly coarse, that sells this unusual downer/upper of a life-and-death comedy." -- Entertainment Weekly

Good for Kids?
The film is rated R for sexual content and some drug use. And, not surprisingly, Common Sense Media tells parents to be prepared for some heavy themes. Based on screenwriter Will Reiser's own battle with cancer, the film is centered around the concept of life and death and "what to do when faced with the possibility of not living past 30." With rave reviews, this dramatic comedy is a good fit for adults. Read the full Common Sense review!

When she reads an article that leads her to believe she will be alone forever, Ally -- with the help of her neighbor (Chris Evans) -- embarks on a journey to find love among her numerous ex-boyfriends.

What They're Saying:
"There are no surprises, but for once you don't much mind." -- Hollywood Reporter

"What's Your Number? is not much dumber than the average romantic comedy, but there is something sad and infuriating about it -- like running into a high-school friend who seemed destined for greatness and walking away realizing she just picked your pocket." -- TIME magazine

Good for Kids?
The plot of a single girl searching for "the one" may seem charming and kid-friendly, but don't be fooled! Common Sense Media tells parents to be prepared for this R-rated raunchy comedy to include strong sexual content, foul language and a neighbor that "has one-night-stands." When Will investigates the crime with the help of his neighbor (Naomi Watts), he soon stumbles upon a shocking revelation: He was the father who survived the murders.

What They're Saying:
The film has not been screened for critics.

Good for Kids?
Rated PG-13, this mystery and supsense flick promises violence and terror. But with an A-list cast, it's perfect for teens and adults looking for a good thrill.

Courageous
Short Story:
This Christian drama film from the men behind Fireproof follows four law enforcement officers who all face the daily challenge of fatherhood. When a tragedy hits close to home, they are left figuring out what it means to be a great dad.

What They're Saying:
"Like a pastor so caught up in the moment that he can't see that the air conditioning has given out and the congregation wants to go home, the film travels far beyond its dramatic climax, aiming for an altar call finale." -- Orlando Sentinel

"A moving, modern parable not to be missed by anyone who's always wondering why they don't make wholesome movies with uplifting messages anymore." -- NewsBlaze

Good for Kids?
Although this film centers around faith and spirtuality, parents should know that the PG-13 film includes intense car chases, shoot-outs, fistfights and the tragic death of a child.

In case you missed:

Moneyball
Short Story:
Based on Michael Lewis' nonfiction book of the same name, Moneyball tells the story of Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane (Brad Pitt). Forced to reinvent the A's on a tight budget, Billy teams up with Ivy league graduate Peter Brand (Jonah Hill) to recruit players the scouts refer to as "flawed," challenging the big-money approach to baseball and revolutionizing the game in the process.

What They're Saying:
"It really happened, it's really corny, and it's really great." -- Village Voice

"[It] may be the first baseball film to tap into the thrill of strategizing -- of manipulated cause and effect -- as entertainingly as you'd expect from a movie about chess or a casino heist." -- Entertainment Weekly

Good for Kids?
The film is rated PG-13 for some strong language and might be tough for children to understand, but baseball fans from 13 to 130 will love it, especially since it boasts an all-star cast at the top of their game and rave reviews from critics.

What They're Saying:
"Abduction falls in the same corner of the youth market as the Twilight movies. Some moments and many lines feel cribbed from that series." -- Orlando Sentinel

"Last I checked, tweenage girls weren't too keen on this genre, and the boys who normally would be a fan will likely be disappointed by (Abduction's) bloodless, stagnant lameness." -- Quickflix

Good for Kids?
Despite less-than-impressive reviews, this action-thriller should prove perfect for the teenage audience that loves Lautner for his work in the Twilight films. But it's it's rated PG-13 for some sexual content and scenes of violence, whichCommon Sense Media says  includes shootings and beatings. Read the full Common Sense review!

What They're Saying:
"This is actually a pretty good thriller, based more on character and plot than on action for its own sake." -- Chicago Sun-Times

"And quite the cliché-ridden desultory mess it is, too..." -- MSN Movies

Good for Kids?
If you're looking for more of an adult action film than AbductionKiller Elite has your name written all over it. But with scenes of intense violence, foul language and some sexuality, this one certainly isn't for kids or tweens.

Ashley Tisdale & Leah Remini Parody 'Toddlers & Tiaras'

Ashley Tisdale & Leah Remini Parody 'Toddlers & Tiaras'

It's hard to watch TLC's Toddlers & Tiaras without wondering: What will these kids be like when they get older? That's the question that Leah Remini and Ashley Tisdale attempt to answer in this hilarious new video from Funny or Die. Watch below!

You know it's a good parody when it seems weirdly plausible! In this pretend "Where are They Now?" special, Tisdale plays a grown version of Mackenzie, the 4-year-old diva from the TLC show's third season. At 25, we learn, Mackenzie is still shrieking at her mother (Leah Remini), crying for her pacifier ("Ni-ni!") and competing in beauty pageants... in the 5-to-7-year-old category.

"We feel she really does shine in this particular group," Remini explains, as if it's perfectly logical. (Is it any less logical than spending six figures on pageant costumes for a 4-year-old?)

There's also a great dig at the ridiculous get-ups that pageant moms coerce their kids into (like this year's infamous "Pretty Woman" outfit).

"As Makenzie grew, some of the judges were concerned that her outfits were too 'promiscuous' -- but when she was younger, they were 'cute'?" scoffs Remini. "Please. Semantics."

Even though Remini gets the best lines, it's Tisdale that gets the biggest laughs out of this video. The former High School Musical villain has proven her excellent timing as the voice of Candace on the cartoon Phineas & Ferb, and here she shows that she can do sketch comedy with the best of them. Somebody ought to give this girl her own sitcom -- or she may be forced to scream "Ni-ni" again!

Lady Gaga Has Three Heads In New Fashion Film

Mother Monster collaborates with Thierry Mugler for latest visual art piece that debuted at Paris Fashion Week.

Lady Gaga and her pal, Thierry Mugler designer Nicola Formichetti, hit Paris Fashion Week once again, dropping a new film during the Mugler women's wear show on Wednesday.

As MTV News previously reported, Gaga and Formichetti teamed up with directors Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for the project. On Thursday (September 29), fans not in Paris for Fashion Week got to see a special edit of the film when it premiered online.

The video, which mixes Mugler runway show footage with clips from the new Gaga film, offers another take on Mother Monster's ever-evolving persona. It opens on a close-up of Gaga's face, her teeth diamond-encrusted, as she says, "Sometimes, my heart sometimes feels so black ... and other days my heart feels like rainbows."

She flips her multicolored hair, saying, "I am Paris. We are Paris." In the next scene, a three-headed Gaga dances while a haunting track plays in the background. The image is reminiscent of the one that appeared on the cover of V magazine earlier this year. (As for the runway show, the clothes seen in the video are futuristic in style, in mostly muted tones.)

The directors, Inez and Vinoodh, worked with Gaga on her "Yoü and I" fashion films and, so far, three have featured some of her alter egos, including the nymph, the bride and Yüyi the mermaid. More "Yoü and I" films are expected to premiere, but when and where remains a mystery.

Gaga and Mugler have collaborated before: Besides the fact that designer Formichetti is her stylist, he has also debuted some of her brand-new music at his shows. In January, she premiered a remix of her Born This Way track "Scheiße" at a Mugler fashion show. Two months later, in March, Gaga not only walked the runway at a show, she debuted her song "Government Hooker"

The pop star is already back at work on her next album. Late Wednesday, she tweeted, "Almost #14MillionMonsters!! Thank you for making Born This Way really matter, this has been a crazy memorable year! Writing music today."

Share your thoughts on Gaga's new film in the comments section!

Kristen Stewart Shows Sexy Shoulder on the Set of Snow White and the Huntsman

Kristen Stewart was back to work in front of the cameras today on the Wales set of Snow White and the Huntsman. Chris Hemsworth rode horseback alongside Kristen during yesterday's intense, armor-clad scenes, but this time Kristen was alone with her white horse in a softer and more familiar Snow White costume. This isn't the first time Kristen's worked on a beach location. Last Fall, Kristen and Robert Pattinson visited Brazil to shoot the highly anticipated Breaking Dawn: Part 1 honeymoon night swim. Twilight fans will finally see those hot moments on the big screen when the first installment of the series hits theaters Nov. 18.

TV's Highest Paid Actresses: Eva Longoria and Tina Fey

TV's Highest Paid Actresses: Eva Longoria and Tina Fey

Movie stars aren't the only ones pulling in the cash in Hollywood! While they may not be making $20 million per movie like Angelina Jolie, TV actresses are doing pretty darn well for themselves.

So, who tops the list?

One plays a workaholic comedy writer and the other plays a glamorous housewife, but both Tina Fey and Eva Longoria have topped Forbes magazine's list of the highest-paid TV actresses of the past year. The 30 Rock head writer-producer-star and the Desperate Housewives beauty-model-restauranteur each earned $13 million from May 2010 to May 2011.

But Longoria wasn't the only Wisteria Lane resident to break the top 10. Marcia Cross came in at no. 3 with $10 million and Felicity Huffman and Teri Hatcher tied for no. 6 with a $9 million year. Since this is the campy ABC soap's final season, next 2012's list will likely mark the last time all four costars qualify.

Two on-screen detectives join Cross in third place: CSI star Marg Helgenberger and Law & Order SVU headliner Mariska Hargitay. It only makes sense those two would be high on the list, considering those crime procedurals are primetime's most profitable scripted franchises.

Rounding out the top ten: titular Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo and Cougar Town producer-star Courteney Cox ($7 million each) and The Good Wife Emmy winner Julianna Margulies ($6 million).

So while these women may not boast weekend grosses, they've owned network television for the past year in leading roles that highlight their acting skills. And if they can rack up a combined $88 million a year doing so, more power to them.

To read the entire list, check out Forbes' annual package.

Michael Jackson Doctor Left 'Panicked' Voicemail After Death

In addition to assistant's testimony, bodyguard claims MJ's kids were in the room when he died.
By Gil Kaufman, with additional reporting by Kara Warner

Dr. Conrad Murray
Photo: Pool/ Getty Images

Day two of testimony in the manslaughter trial of former Michael Jackson doctor Conrad Murray featured more damning revelations from MJ's personal assistant and head of security, as well as employees of AEG Live, the firm that was promoting the singer's 50-show This Is It attempted comeback tour.

Among the revelations Wednesday (September 28), an attorney for AEG Live, Kathy Jorrie, described the contract she wrote up between AEG, Murray and Jackson. The document specified that Murray was to be paid a $150,000-a-month retainer, even when This Is It was on hiatus, and that the cardiologist requested a CPR machine for Jackson during the run of the shows in London.

As for why he needed a machine used for resuscitation, TMZ reported that Murray claimed he didn't want to take chances given MJ's age (50) and the strenuous nature of the show. Jorrie also said that in a conversation with Murray on June 24, 2009 — the day before Jackson's death — the doctor said he'd seen his client perform and that he appeared to be in "perfect" health.

She also confirmed that the contract — drafted 10 days before Jackson's death — had never been signed by any of the parties and that it contained revisions requested by Murray, including retroactive pay dating back to May 2009 through March 2010 and a clause exempting him from refunding any of his monthly retainer if Jackson changed his mind or canceled the tour.

In an effort to lay out the timeline of events on the day of Jackson's death, prosecutors called the pop icon's personal assistant, Michael Amir Williams, who discussed a panicked voicemail he received from Murray. After watching an "amazing" rehearsal the night before, Williams said he picked up an urgent voicemail from Murray the next day at 12:13 p.m. asking him to call back right away to discuss a "bad reaction" MJ had.

When Williams arrived at Jackson's rented Beverly Hills estate, the first thing he saw was his boss on a gurney and a "frantic-looking Murray, who, after Jackson was pronounced dead, confided to Williams that there was some "cream Michael wouldn't want the world to know about" at the house. Williams drove Murray back to the mansion to retrieve the "cream," and after checking with Jackson's head of security, they let the doctor back into the house.

AEG Live co-CEO Paul Gongaware was back on the stand again Wednesday, testifying that Murray had initially asked for the exorbitant sum of $5 million per year to take care of Jackson. When the singer insisted that he wanted Murray to take care of him, he instructed Gongaware to call back and offer $150,000 a month.

The final witness to testify Wednesday was Jackson's head of security, Faheem Muhammad, who described arriving on the scene to see Murray frantically trying to resuscitate the fallen pop star, while two of Jackson's children, Paris and Prince, looked on. Muhammad said Jackson appeared to be dead when he arrived and that when he noticed the children in the room, he took them downstairs. Muhammad added that he heard Murray asking if anyone knew CPR, which prompted fellow bodyguard Alberto Alvarez to try to help.

On Tuesday, the opening day of the trial, in addition to disturbing photos of Jackson and a voicemail in which the singer's speech was slurred and garbled, the jury heard from longtime friend and choreographer Kenny Ortega, who said he could tell something was not right with Jackson.

Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and administering the fatal dose of the surgical anesthetic propofol that caused Jackson's death and faces four years in prison and the loss of his medical license if found guilty.

Defense attorney Ed Chernoff told the jury Tuesday that Jackson caused his own death by swallowing eight 2-milligram pills of the anti-anxiety drug Lorazepam, as well as injecting himself with a dose of propofol that instantly killed him. Testimony in the trial continues Thursday.

'Glee' Recap: Season 3, Episode 2

Brit-Brit has taken it upon herself to act as Kurt's campaign manager and came up with an array of appropriately bedizened candidate posters for her new best friend and hero, but Kurt balks at all the glitter and the rainbows and the Kurt-riding unicorns because he all of a sudden doesn't think people should be defining him by his sexual orientation.

Meanwhile, Carmel High fired Dustin Goolsby from his job as head coach of Vocal Adrenaline because Vocal Adrenaline came in second at Nationals in New York in May, and now nobody wants to take the job at Carmel because of The Pressure, so Mr. Schue decides this means he cannot direct this year's gala musicale production as planned because Vocal Adrenaline now has a big, fat target on its back, so he'd rather focus on winning Nationals and running something called "Booty Camp," which basically amounts to remedial dance lessons for New Directions' differently abled students.

Are Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore Splitting Up?

Are Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore Splitting Up?

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have seemed like one of Hollywood's happiest couples since they got together in 2003. But is there trouble in paradise? One year after rumors of an affair rocked the Moore-Kutcher marriage, the couple is suddenly acting -- well, less like a couple.

For example, Moore, 48, and Kutcher, 33, celebrated their sixth anniversary last weekend -- on opposite sides of the country. People reports that Kutcher was hitting the clubs in San Diego with former That '70s Show costar Danny Masterson, while Moore attended a film premiere in New York City. People also points out that neither of them mentioned the anniversary on Twitter.

In fact, both of their Twitter accounts have been suspiciously lacking in the PDA that used to make us all so jealous and/or uncomfortable. Instead, there have been cryptic tweets, like this one from Moore the night before their anniversary: "When we are offended at any man's fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger."

It's a quote from the Greek philosopher Epictetus. Was Demi trying to send a message?

Other publications claim that Kutcher has been cheating on Moore, and that's the reason the marriage is on the rocks. TheDirty.com has a report from a woman named Sarah Leal, who says she slept with Kutcher at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego last Saturday. (Kutcher allegedly told Leal that he and Moore were separated.) The circumstances and details are similar to his alleged fling with 21-year-old Brittney Jones, as reported in Star last September.

But this time around, there have been no Twitter denials, no cutesy photos posted online, and no reconciliatory trip to Israel from the Kutcher-Moore camp. Could it be that everyone's favorite May-December couple has really called it quits?

Living Celebrities on Stamps: Should Lady Gaga Be the First?

Living Celebrities on Stamps: Should Lady Gaga Be the First?

In about a year, you might be able to start sending your snail mail and birthday cards with stamps featuring celebrities like Lady Gaga and Neil Armstrong. The United States Postal Service announced Monday that stamps will no longer only feature dead individuals. They're asking the public to submit their top five choices for living people they'd like to see honored on a stamp via Facebook and Twitter, which will help the postmaster general make a decision as to whose face will make the cut.

This announcement is a big step away from USPS' previous policy of exclusively commemorating deceased celebrities and historical figures. But it turns out that stamps featuring Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe are two of the best-selling stamps of all time. With their move to honor living celebrities, the revenue-starved USPS is seeking to build on the money-making success of those star-studded stamps by drawing in a younger audience and potentially encouraging a stamp-collecting renaissance.

"Having really nice, relevant, interesting, fun stamps might make a difference in people's decisions to mail a letter," the Postal Service's manager of stamp services Stephen Kearney tells The New York Times. "This is such a sea change."

The turnaround time for these new stamps will be significantly less than the previous three-year development process for stamps. Kearney says that at least one new stamp featuring a living person will be available late next year. It will join the previously announced 34 new stamps that will also be released then.

Kearney says that he expects this new venture will cause the number of suggestions USPS receives yearly to increase. On average, the Postal Service receives 40,000 suggestions from the public each year -- but between people contributing their piks on Facebook and Twitter, he expects that number to be higher. The decision won't be a popularity contest, though. The Citizen's Stamp Advisory Committee will sift through the responses and then make their recommendations to the postmaster general, who makes the final decision.

There has already been some backlash toward putting living celebrities on stamps. The fear is that it could allow the influence of commercial decisions, or that an overnight star could end up being commemorated forever on a stamp. Kearny isn't concerned, though.

"I want to reassure everyone that we won't let this cheapen the value of being on stamps," he says.

So who will get the honor of being the first living person to see their face staring back at them from a stamp? Will it be a young up-and-comer like Lady Gaga, a mid-career icon like Julia Roberts or Tom Hanks, or a wizened veteran like Betty White? We'll have to wait until next year to find out, but it's not too early to start inundating USPS with your suggestions.

First, it was Demi Lovato, and now, Justin Bieber is jumping on the Lil Wayne "How to Love" bandwagon. On Wednesday (September 28), the singer dropped his acoustic version of the ballad.

According to a tweet, from Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, Bieber, in addition to producing the track, played all the instruments on it as well. Braun also shared that there's more new music coming out from Bieber, tweeting, "He has some more remixes coming too. right @seankingston."

About a minute and a half into the track, Bieber even shows off his rapping skills when he spits, "I just want to take my time/ I just want to my thing/ Maybe we press rewind/ Maybe I buy that ring/ We could grow old together/ Just share our souls together/ Find how to love, kiss and hug/ How to roll together/ I just need you by my side/ Maybe we could be all right/ I just want to hold you right/ We can go into the night/ You're the one I need."

This week, Bieber heads to South America for a string of dates on the next leg of his My World Tour, and he had this message for all the Bieliebers out there: "U know what ... I LOVE MY FANS!! and yeah i know there r haterz but u cant stop us from living our dream. hard work and this team. #wegohard."

In related news, Bieber tweeted out the date "#nov1st," perhaps a hint as to when his highly anticipated Christmas album will drop. The album, which will feature confirmed track "Falalalala" with Boyz II Men, is also rumored to contain collaborations with Sean Kingston and Taylor Swift, as well as a super-secret collaboration with "1 of the most #Legendary performers ever," according to a tweet from Braun.

Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman said, "[Bieber] thought we'd be perfect for it. And we went in and locked in."

Michael Jackson 'Wasn't Right,' Choreographer Testifies

Kenny Ortega takes stand in doctor Conrad Murray's manslaughter trial.
By Gil Kaufman

After dramatic opening statements from prosecutors and the defense, the manslaughter trial of former Michael Jackson doctor Conrad Murray began Tuesday with gripping testimony from Jackson's friend and former choreographer, "This is It" documentary director Kenny Ortega.

"My friend wasn't right. ... There was something going on that was deeply troubling me," Ortega said of Jackson's demeanor on June 19, a week before the singer's death. Ortega testified that although Jackson was "very excited" about his upcoming 50-date "This is It" series of comeback shows at London's O2 Arena, the pop icon seemed ill in the days before his passing, missing numerous rehearsals from mid- to late June 2009.

According to TMZ, Ortega said Jackson left rehearsals early on the 19th, after seemingly not eating anything all day, which prompted the director to send an email to Randy Phillips, the CEO of AEG Live, the show's promoter. "There is no one taking responsibility, caring for him on a daily basis," Ortega wrote. "I was feeding him, wrapping him in blankets ... and calling his doctor."

Ortega described Jackson as "incoherent" and said he confronted Murray during an emergency meeting at the singer's home June 20, during which the doctor became upset that the choreographer would not let Jackson rehearse and accused him of trying to act like a doctor. Ortega also said he thought Jackson was abusing drugs and that just four days after appearing so sick, the "Thriller" singer was back at rehearsals June 23 full of energy and ready to work.

AEG co-CEO Paul Gongaware later testified that it was Jackson's idea to extend his string of 10 sold-out shows with an additional 21 gigs to bring the total to 31 in order to beat longtime rival Prince's record of 21 sold-out gigs at the O2. He also said that even after selling out all 50 shows, there was a list of 250,000 people waiting for tickets.

And while Gongaware described Jackson as seeming a little "off" and speaking in slurred speech when he first met him in the early stages of rehearsal, longtime friend and fitness trainer Lou Ferrigno said he saw no signs of physical distress during workouts a couple weeks before the singer died.

The former "Hulk" star said that two weeks before Jackson's passing, he watched as the pop icon trained for an hour at his rented Beverly Hills mansion, doing cardio on a treadmill, working with light weights and doing core exercises. Ferrigno described Jackson's energy level as very good, but did note that his friend complained of having trouble sleeping.

Earlier in the day, prosecutors showed a previously unseen, graphic image of the 50-year-old Jackson's body on a hospital gurney and claimed in opening statements that they planned to show that Murray repeatedly acted with gross negligence and incompetence in administering a drug cocktail to Jackson.

Murray, who was working on a $150,000-a-month retainer, faces four years in prison and the loss of his medical license if found guilty.

Defense attorney Ed Chernoff countered by telling the jury that Jackson caused his own death by swallowing eight 2-milligram pills of the anti-anxiety drug Lorazepam, as well as injecting himself with a dose of the surgical anesthetic propofol that instantly killed him. Testimony in the trial continues Wednesday (September 28).

Bravo & Patti Stanger Apologize for Anti-Gay Slurs

The Patti Stanger apology tour has begun. In the wake of discriminatory, anti-gay comments she made during Sunday's season 5 premiere of Bravo's Watch What Happens: Live, Stanger has been trying to say she's sorry for what she said.

On the late-night show, hosted by Andy Cohen, Stanger made a series of discriminatory comments in reference to gay men being challenged by monogamy, including "There's no curbing the gay...I've tried to curb you people."

After a great deal of outcry by viewers and outreach by the media-watch group Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), Stanger hit the Twitterverse yesterday, saying, "So sorry -- didn't mean to offend anyone. Love you all. X0." She also specified that what she said was directed to somebody who called into the show: "Attn male Gays: I support you & my comment on WWHL was to a LA guy who can't find commitment."

The network has since followed up with its own apology: "Bravo regrets the comments expressed by Patti Stanger on Watch What Happens: Live last night," a network spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter. "Her comments are not representative of the network's beliefs and opinions. We apologize for the offense it caused."

Stanger was on a serious roll when she was on the WWH:L, she also insinuated that it was a compliment to be straight. Oh, and that "Jewish men lie." As in, all of them. Wow. Patti, who is Jewish, has yet to address that comment.

We'll see if she has anything else to say for herself tonight, when Stanger is slated to appear on HLN's The Joy Behar Show at 10 p.m. ET. Will she be as remorseful while in the hot seat? We'll be watching!

J. Cole Gets Off Rap's Sidelines With Cole World

'Emotional' Roc Nation rapper will head to the store today to buy his debut album.
By Rob Markman, with reporting by MTV's Sucker Free

On Tuesday (September 27), J. Cole finally got up off the bench.

The Roc Nation rapper has presented each of his mixtapes — The Come Up, The Warm Up, and Friday Night Lights — with a sports analogy, and his major label debut is no different. Cole World: The Sideline Story, in stores today, tells the story of a young star yearning to get his shot at the big time.

"I'm pretty sure we're gonna celebrate somewhere," Cole told MTV2's Sucker Free of his release-day plans. "But to me, I think the real satisfaction and joy will come from when I go to the actual store and see that physical CD right there in my hands and I can look at it and go up and pay for it."

It's been a long road for the Jay-Z protégé. He first made a name for himself in 2007 with The Come Up and quietly signed to Jay-Z before he released his Warm Up mixtape in '09. He is a former XXL Freshmen cover subject, appeared on Hov's Blueprint III and has toured with Rihanna. But even with all of his accomplishments, Cole's debut went through a series of starts and stops. Not that the North Carolina rapper's career trajectory was that different from his rap contemporaries like B.o.B, Wale and Big Sean, but dropping an album has been a longtime goal for Cole.

Cole World is packed with radio-ready singles like "Can't Get Enough" (featuring Trey Songz), "Workout," and the Drake collaboration "In the Morning." There are potent album cuts as well. "Dollar and a Dream III" details Cole's artistic struggle, while "Lost Ones" tackles the topic of abortion and the effect that it can have on a young couple. "Mr. Nice Watch" features Jay-Z and the Missy Elliott-featuring "Nobody's Perfect" perfectly channels Misdemeanor's late-1990s R&B reign.

The release has lifted a weight off the young MC's shoulders.

"Even talking about it right now, I'm getting a little emotional because I can remember going to get so many albums and just the fact that mines is one of those," he said. "To me, that'll be the real incredible feeling, like all the things I've been through will finally be worth it because we made it to that."

J. Cole is no longer on the sidelines.

Rihanna's 'State Of Undress' During Video Shoot 'Inappropriate'

Alan Graham allowed singer to film 'We Found Love' clip in his Northern Ireland cornfield.

Rihanna may be doing her best Mariah Carey "Dreamlover" impression in her video for "We Found Love," but a farmer didn't feel comfortable watching Rihanna run around a Northern Ireland cornfield in a bikini top and low-rise jeans.

DUP Alderman Alan Graham spoke to the BBC about the "We Found Love" video shoot. The shoot was moved onto his property, and he felt that the singer was too scantily clad.

"There was an arrangement made last week. There was no formal agreement. Rihanna arrived on Monday. I did not prevent her video at all. I did not object to her outfit at all, that was an exaggeration," he said in an interview with the BBC. "Most of the video took place on a field adjacent to me, which was in a public place. It was when the film crew went further away from the road that I felt things were getting inappropriate and I asked the filming to stop."

While photos of the shoot show Ri wearing a flannel top and jeans with a bikini underneath, Graham explained it was a look he did not approve of. "The issue was that I felt Rihanna was in a more state of undress than a bikini top," he said. "She was wearing jeans, of course she was. It was only when they moved for five or ten minutes into our field that I felt things were getting inappropriate."

Graham added during the interview that he had no idea who Rihanna was when he agreed to let her shoot there. "From my point of view, it was my land, I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate," he said about her look in the video. "I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God."

'Breaking Dawn' Single Drops: Bruno Mars' 'It Will Rain'

'Twilight' soundtrack, due November 8, also will feature Christina Perri and Theophilus London.

The indie angst of past "Twilight" scores has given way to doo-wop sadness on "It Will Rain," the lead single Bruno Mars dropped Tuesday (September 27). The full "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" soundtrack will hit the streets November 8.

In a previous interview, Mars promised "It Will Rain" would be "dark," and he didn't lie. The track — co-written and co-produced by Mars' team, the Smeezingtons — is signature Mars: Sweeping and romantic, it focuses on the power of true love and the emotional pain of heartbreak. The pain of the track is reminiscent of his smash "Grenade."

" 'Cause there'll be no more sunlight, if I lose you, baby," he sings on the emotional chorus. "There'll be no clear skies, if I lose you, baby/ Just let the clouds, my eyes will do the same if you walk away/ Every day, it will rain."

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" opens in theaters November 18. "After seeing the movie, I thought that it would be a perfect fit," Mars said of the song. "The 'Twilight' movies for me [are] a love story. But it's a dark love story," he added. "And I think the best way to describe the song is: It's the darker side of love. I think that pretty much sums it up."

On Monday, a full track list dropped, revealing which other artists made the final cut for the November release. Christina Perri, Theophilus London and Aqualung & Lucy Schwartz are a few of the artists who will be featured. The track list also reveals that Iron & Wine's song "Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Wedding Version)" will be played during the long-awaited wedding.

The full track list for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" soundtrack:

» The Joy Formidable, "Endtapes"
» Angus & Julia Stone, "Love Will Take You"
» Bruno Mars, "It Will Rain"
» Sleeping at Last, "Turning Page"
» The Features, "From Now On"
» Christina Perri, "A Thousand Years"
» Theophilus London, "Neighbors"
» The Belle Brigade, "I Didn't Mean It"
» Noisettes, "Sister Rosetta (2011 Version)"
» Cider Sky, "Northern Lights"
» Iron & Wine, "Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Wedding Version)"
» Imperial Mammoth, "Requiem on Water"
» Aqualung & Lucy Schwartz, "Cold"
» Mia Maestro, "Llovera"
